The solemnity of Saint Benedict, patron saint of Europe, was a joyful feast for our monastic and oblate community. During the Eucharist celebrated in an unusual setting, among scaffolding and painting foils, four of our oblate novices made their oblation and became full-fledged Benedictine Oblates.
After the Mass there was a rite of admitting two candidates to the oblate novitiate.
The celebrations ended with with a love feast. And our garden was enriched with a beautiful Japanese umbrella pine tree given to us. Thank you!
